First spy photos are already here and we’ve been able to spot latest cosmetic updates. The Raptor model is a high-performance variant with more power and improved off-road ability. Interestingly, Ranger Raptor and the brand-new Bronco Warthog will share a lot of things. The sales will begin in the last quarter of 2021, according to latest reports.

What About 2025 Ranger Raptor Performance?

The current Ranger Raptor model is not available in the United States. As you know, Ranger is a model that is available overseas, especially popular in Australia. Now, the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor is coming to the U.S. We don’t know which engines will be in offer, but there are a couple of candidates. A 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel with 210 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque could become available in regular Ranger.

As for the high-performance Raptor variant, first possible option is a four-cylinder diesel. The second and the third powertrain options are more potent V6 outputs. A 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 is likely to happen, along with the 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 gasoline engine. Diesel unit generates 250 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque.

On the other hand, V6 gasoline variant produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of twisting power. However, the loudest rumors were about extremely powerful V8 engine, which won’t happen in near future. The Ranger Raptor truck will use a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel-drive setup.

2025 Ranger Raptor Redesign

The prototype of the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor has been spied with the right-hand-drive setup. The front fascia is dominated by the huge “FORD” letterings. On top of that, the prototype wears flared wheel arches and the BG Goodrich All-Terrain tires. Interestingly, but dual-exhaust tips are not there. Instead, Ranger Raptor wears a single tip at both sides of the rear section. This clearly suggests a V6 engine under the hood.

According to latest reports, Ford will improve the suspension with the Fox shocks. Most likely, we are dealing with the same electronically controlled Fox 3.0 shocks that you can find in the F-150 Raptor truck. New and redesigned Ranger will ride on the same platform that underpins the Bronco SUV. It is a T6 body-on-frame structure that is slightly bigger so it can support the hybrid system.
