The sales will remain as well, but the new Gladiator 4xe is the model that excites us the most. Gladiator is a versatile pickup truck, based on the Jeep Wrangler SUV and it comes in numerous trim levels. The sales will begin later in 2021, and here’s everything you need to know.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Diesel and Gasoline Specs
Under the hood, the 2025 Jeep Gladiator will offer both gasoline and diesel powertrain options. A 3.6-liter V6 gasoline unit is standard and it is a familiar output that powers most of the Jeep’s vehicles. This engine is capable of producing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Optionally, you can get a 3.0-liter V6 diesel powertrain. The diesel variant develops 260 hp and up to 442 lb-ft of torque.
Interestingly, the gasoline engine will offer a six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, a diesel engine comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and it can be had in trim levels such as Sport, Overland, and Rubicon variants. While the gasoline engine provides 19 mpg combined, an optional diesel engine will deliver almost 25 mpg.
2025 Gladiator 4xe
As we said, the 2025 Jeep Gladiator 4xe is a model that rides on hybrid power. It is a combination of a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and dual-motor setup. The first motor serves for propulsion and the second one as a generator. According to Jeep, Gladiator 4xe will meet all of the emissions regulations and the all-electric model could happen in the next two or three years.
Reportedly, this hybrid pickup truck will produce around 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It is the most powerful variant of the Gladiator model that you can get. On top of that, a 17-kWh battery will provide 25 miles of all-electric driving range.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Price and Release Date
The all-new 2025 Jeep Gladiator will once again cost $33,000 or slightly above that. As we said, we are still waiting for more information and Jeep will reveal more details in the coming months. On the other hand, trim levels such as Rubicon will cost around $45,000.
The Gladiator model will hit the dealerships by the end of 2021, most likely in the last quarter of the year. A hybrid powertrain is the biggest upgrade, but we hope to see a surprise or two. As before, Gladiator will offer the same trim levels, including the Sport, Overland, Mojave, and Rubicon trims.
