2025 Jeep Renegade Rumors, Changes, Pricing, Release Date. New 2025 Jeep Renegade comes with plenty of excitement. Of course, the highlight of the new Renegade is, of course, a hybrid drivetrain. This unit is available with a manual transmission. Optionally, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder is available too. It cranks out 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.

It comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, this engine is available on the Limited model as standard. Front-wheel-drive setup is standard and four-wheel-drive system is optional once again. All-new 2025 Renegade can tow almost 2000 pounds.

Jeep Renegade PHEV

Jeep will finally introduce a plug-in hybrid system in its new 2025 Jeep Renegade. This subcompact crossover will arrive with the platform that can accommodate a rear-mounted electric motor. Front-wheel-drive will remain as a standard system. Renegade PHEV will deliver more power than the regular Renegade. Visually, the hybrid model won’t depart from the base model.

The interior room won’t be sacrificed at all. Jeep will most likely combine the optional engine with the electric generator and the battery pack. This output will produce around 230 horsepower and it will offer astonishing mileage figures. Current Renegade is rated at 27 mpg combined. Renegade PHEV will surely deliver over 33 mpg.

Price and Release Date

Due to small modifications and upgrades, new 2025 Jeep Renegade will keep its existing price. The price starts at $21,000 while the Renegade PHEV will cost around $26,000.

The hybrid version is currently produced in Italy and will firstly arrive in Europe. Renegade will be available in the United States. This subcompact crossover will hit the dealerships at the beginning of 2020.
